Discovery Workshops Launch for 2025/26

Norbury High has launched its 2025/26 offer to local primary schools
Norbury High School for Girls has launched its Discovery Workshops offer for 2025/26.
The programme is set to build on the success of last year's workshops, in which the school partnered with five others across the borough to help smooth the transition from primary to secondary education by providing an exciting taste of what key stage 2 pupils can expect from next-level learning.
This year, the school is expanding its offer and inviting local primary schools to consider how it can support their pupils.
Programme highlights include a soap making workshop (science), a Möbius strip session (maths), a Dragon's Den-style entrepreneurial group (business studies), a bunting-making class (textiles) and a critical analysis of how characters and stories in Disney productions can shape understandings of gender roles and identity (sociology).
The school is welcoming bookings from primary schools for class-sized groups. Places are limited, so early registration via the link below is encouraged.
