Student Leaders

“My experience at Norbury High’s sixth form has been enriched with amazing opportunities and achievements. Being in an environment dedicated to nurturing young women creates a strong sense of sisterhood and mutual support.” - Zarah, Head Girl

At Norbury High School for Girls, we strive to be a place that inspires the next generation of female leaders through our core values of Empowerment, Empathy, Equality and Excellence. In the sixth form, this vision is not just spoken; it is lived. We believe every student has the potential to shape and lead positive change within our community and beyond.

As such, we have significantly enhanced our leadership offer in recent years, developing our Student Executive Team (SET) that acts as a forward-thinking model that mirrors the school's senior leadership team. This innovative structure allows student leaders to partner with school leaders, helping to drive meaningful change, deliver whole-school initiatives and strengthen community engagement from year 7 upwards. While we proudly maintain our longstanding tradition of a sixth form leadership team at the heart of school life, our model is now more inclusive, dynamic and responsive to student perspectives than ever before.
