Transition to the Sixth Form
GCSE results day and sixth form enrolment at Norbury High
We are incredibly proud of our year 11 students and look forward to celebrating their hard work, resilience and achievements each year on GCSE results day. This day also marks the exciting next step for many students as they begin their transition into the Norbury High School for Girls sixth form.
Whether you're continuing with us from year 11 or joining from another school, we're excited to welcome you into our ambitious and supportive sixth form community.
Key dates and arrangements
- GCSE results day, Thursday 21st August 2025: visit our Examinations page for the most up-to-date info concerning results days and when to collect results; year 11 Norbury High students can collect results from 08:30
- Members of staff will be available to offer advice, guidance and support
Sixth Form Enrolment
Students can enrol in-person or online via Applicaa.
In person
- Day 1: Thursday 21st August, 08:30-15:30; after collecting your results, visit the Sixth Form Team to enrol on-site; staff will be available to support and discuss options if needed
- Day 2: Tuesday 2nd September, 08:30–12:30; enrolled students can collect timetables ahead of starting on Wednesday 3rd September at 08:35
Students who still need to enrol are welcome to come in and finalise their place.
Online (via Applicaa)
Students who have met their offer conditions can enrol virtually here. If entry requirements have not been met, your application will still be reviewed and you may be asked to attend in person on Tuesday 2nd September.
What Happens After Enrolment?
Once enrolled, you’ll receive an email with key forms, info and permissions, including:
- Home-school Agreement
- IT Acceptable Use Policy
- Attendance guidance
- Medical and biometric forms
- Bursary application information
- University First-generation Declaration
- Personal Data Consent Form

What happens in Week 1?
- Wednesday 3rd September: Induction Day; get settled in and meet your form, take your official photos, and take part in Hemisphere, our whole-school anti-bias programme
- Thursday 4th September: Off-site, time to process your first day and get ready for your first full day on Friday 5th September
- Friday 5th September: first full day; begin your sixth form journey with your first full day of timetabled lessons
