Google Marketing Work Experience Opportunity

Students invited to register for online career challenges

Students across all year groups have been invited to join one of two online career challenges hosted by Digdata in collaboration with Google UK's marketing team.

Each session offers an opportunity to gain certificated virtual work experience and will be hosted on Zoom at the following times:

The session for years 7-9

Want to be a YouTuber? Dig into the data sources that could make you go viral

This career challenge will involve:

  • Meeting the Google marketing team
  • Learning how to understand and use data to make smart choices
  • Developing problem-solving, data literacy, storytelling and presentation skills
  • Gaining a virtual work experience certificate
  • Creating content ideas that could go viral online

This career challenge can be undertaken independently or as part of a small team – all work submitted will receive a virtual work experience certificate.

The session for years 10-13

“Google Joins Forces with Gen Z Creators to Launch the Pixel 10!”

This career challenge will involve:

  • Meeting the Google Marketing team
  • Developing critical thinking and data literacy skills
  • Developing AI skills using Gemini Nano AI
  • Gaining a virtual work experience certificate

This career challenge can be undertaken independently or as part of a small team – all work submitted will receive a virtual work experience certificate.
