Art Competition Winners Announced

Mental Health Awareness Week contest centred on community theme
We're pleased to announce the winners of our art competition for this year's Mental Health Awareness Week.
The theme of the competition, echoing that of Mental Health Awareness Week itself, was 'community'. Other activities organised by the school on the same theme between 12th and 16th May included a talk from an NHS nurse and lessons in a local park.
Isra Naeem of 8Q was one of three students awarded first prize for her outstanding work (pictured); she won a £20 voucher. Two other students, one from year 9 and one from the sixth form, shared a £20 voucher for their excellent joint entry.
Second prize also went to joint winners; Alisha Lahai (7A) and another student from the same form each won a £10 voucher.
Third prize was awarded to a year 7 student who won a box of chocolates.
Thanks to all those who participated and helped organise the week's events.
